Namma Bengaluru!

Been in Bangalore for more than a year. During my stay, here are some Bengalurean things that I experienced:

Namma Bengaluru has everything to offer from jobs to traffic thuds, from beautiful weather to home coming rain, from college going chaps to temple loving folks, from shopping spots to food lovers hub.  And most importantly... beautiful memories to tell your grandchildren for whatever stuff you did in Bangalore😉

Bangalore, where Paying Guest is the first business and IT stands second.

Equal numbers of IT professionals and stray dogs.
There is this famous saying here in Bangalore that ‘If you toss a stone in the air, it will either hit a dog or an IT employee.’
Out of every 100 IT engineers in Bangalore, 90 are utterly exasperated with their current jobs and rest have a Girlfriend / Boyfriend :p
The city where more people know Language C & Java than Kannada / Hindi/ English.

An airport which is almost in another city.
Very good connectivity from all over the country and world but , the Kempegowda International Airport , never feels like it is in the same city you live , it feels like going to Chennai for catching the flight .You have to leave at 2 or even before in the afternoon for the flight at 6  The airport is way too far
If you need to develop patience, come right here- at Bangalore. The place where you’ll start feeling couple of hours to be nothing more than few minutes and its going to make you habituated into doing nothing but sitting idle at a seat for hours

Traffic :

K.R Puram,SilkBoard, Marathalli, Whitefield area, ufff…It will take more than half an hour to cover 2kms or so.
The traffic is never ending… you can start from morning and could reach in evening (for just few Kms) to your destination if traffic shows you its true colors.
If you want to punish someone make them cross silkboard signal at peak hours. Nothing can match that.
During the morning and evening commute in KR Puram, you could see that a KTM Duke 390, Harley Davidson and a Hero Passion pro are all going at the same speed ( 4 km /hr ) and discipline ( There is no space left for any adventures ).

BMTC:
Super crowded buses: There's no escaping the buses that are crowded. If you are commuting in the morning, you're obliged to travel in those dumped buses.
Buses stopping at bus stops to pick up passengers and stopping in between bus stops for the conductor to finish issuing tickets.Bus drivers reads news papers at signals or in slow moving traffic. Once i was traveling from Whitefield to Majestic on a  Friday evening  and traffic was so much that Driver got down to have tea at near by stall on road.
Two Bus Trunks driven by a single Engine. Believe me it still goes past like a tracer bullet.

The lovely weathe
But it gets hot during summers , really hot . But at the same time , you don’t when it starts to rain. When someone says, 'It's raining in Bangalore,' be sure to ask them which area, which main and which cross road.
The rains are a disaster for the roads. They get clogged and end up forming potholes.

Eateries are many
It is the melting point of North and South, you will find Punjabi restaurant (maintaining north taste) to typical south indian canteen with filter coffee! And the opposite as well means South Indian style of north Indian food (kachories, samosaas with coconut :P) and the variety of food is awesome.

This is most common breakfast people in Bengaluru have or prefer to have. They can eat it all the time morning/afternoon/evening everyday.
There are more options available but I dont know why people prefer these over anything else , maybe it's because everyone's always in a rush and want to eat something that's ready to serve.

Malls. If you don’t have plans for weekend then don’t worry! Just roam around any of the beautiful malls for free. Your weekend will be well spent!

Most Bengaluru thing is, its often called as Namma-Bengaluru(Our Bengaluru). One of such example is this Video by Rinosh George who is a Malayali guy. Please watch it.
